Security Service offers three types of Overdraft Protection for your Checking Account:
You can use a PrimeLine Line of Credit Account to cover your checks. The PrimeLine Account is a loan, so you have to apply and be approved to set this up. There's no fee for this service and you pay interest only on the credit used.
Keep money in your Savings Plus Account and we'll automatically transfer (free up to four transfers; each transfer over four is $2.00 each) your savings money to cover checks in $100 increments only when you sign up for this option.
If you do not qualify for a line of credit, consider our Member Overdraft Privilege TM Service. This service allows your checks to clear in the event your account is insufficient in funds for a fee of $25 per check. Please ask a member service representative for details.
