Did you know that there are over 900 ways to join Security Service Federal Credit Union? Check out the list below of groups eligible to join SSFCU. If you believe you are eligible to join and do not belong to one of the qualifying groups listed, call or e-mail our Member Contact Center to verify membership eligibility.

Membership Qualifications

Military or Department of Defense

Civil Service employees and military personnel who work for or are assigned to the Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Agency (Air Force ISR Agency) or 8 AF/CD-IO Lackland AFB.

OR

Members of the U.S. Armed Forces, active or retired, or their dependents or dependent survivors or civilian employees of the Department of Defense of their dependents or dependent survivors, who are eligible by law or regulations to receive and are receiving benefits or services from Headquarters Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Agency (Air Force ISR Agency), Kelly Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX, or Fort Carson, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

OR

Federal and state employees associated with the Air National Guard in San Antonio, Texas.

Department of Defense Retiree

Any Department of Defense retiree (military or civilian) living in Bexar County, Texas, or within 50 miles of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

FiftyPlus Club, Inc.

Catholic Church Members (CO)

Members of Catholic churches in the Dioceses of Pueblo and Colorado Springs, Colorado. Organizations associated with the Dioceses of Pueblo and Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Employees, students, members, clergy, and volunteers of catholic organizations, catholic schools, and catholic churches located in Douglas County, Colorado.

Spanish speaking catholics residing in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area which is comprised of Adams, Arapahoe, Broomfield, Dear creek, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, Gilpin, Jefferson and Park Counties.

Methodist Church Members/Employees (TX)

Members or employees of Methodist churches within the Southwest Texas and Rio Grande Conferences.

Employees, members, or retirees of a company or organization in the field of membership of Security Service Federal Credit Union. Immediate family members are defined as "spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, or grandchild; including step and adoptive relationships". Household is defined as "persons living in the same residence and who maintain a single economic unit". This includes any person who is a permanent member of, or helps maintain the household.
