SECURITY SERVICE CHARITABLE FOUNDATION DONATES $2,500 TO HELP PATIENTS IN THERAPY

Funds will purchase orthotic suits for children receiving therapy

(OREM, UT – MARCH 23, 2023) –– The Security Service Charitable Foundation donated $2,500 to Now I Can of Orem, UT.

“Now I Can provides effective and life-changing therapy to children who go through our program,” said Tracey Christensen, executive director for Now I Can. “This donation from the Security Service Charitable Foundation helps us serve our families better.”

The Security Service Charitable Foundation’s donation will be used to purchase a Therasuit, an orthotic suit children wear during part of therapy.

“No one works harder than the kids at Now I Can,” said Josie Brande, assistant vice president of member service—Mountain West Region for Security Service Federal Credit Union. “We are happy to support an organization that brings change, hope, and confidence into the lives of these children.”

Now I Can provides life-changing physical therapy to children with disabilities. The organization has a clinic that operates 8 hours per day, serving children from all over the country. The Now I Can Cottage allows families to comfortably stay during their child’s three-week treatment.

The Security Service Charitable Foundation helps further Security Service Federal Credit Union’s corporate goal of community service by contributing to deserving organizations and causes in the credit union's market areas.
