Funds to purchase pallet jack for warehouse

(AMERICAN FORK, UT – NOVEMBER 10, 2022) –– The Security Service Charitable Foundation donated $3,000 to Tabitha’s Way in American Fork, Utah. This donation will help the food supplier purchase a pallet jack for its warehouse.

“Tabitha’s Way is a much-needed service for families experiencing hardship throughout Utah,” said Kara Smith, community relations executive assistant for Tabitha’s Way. “We take care of those who are food insecure, meaning they don’t know where their next meal might come from.”

The new jack will help workers better transport incoming goods at Tabitha’s Way’s warehouse.

“No one should have to worry about how or where they’ll find food,” said Brandy Ralston-Lint, senior vice president of corporate communications for Security Service Federal Credit Union. “The services provided at Tabitha’s Way will help lift a burden for families in need.”

Tabitha's Way was founded in 2010 to help the less fortunate in Utah County's South Valley. Today, Tabitha's Way provides meals to an average of 5,000 individuals monthly.

The Security Service Charitable Foundation helps further Security Service Federal Credit Union’s corporate goal of community service by contributing to deserving organizations and causes in the credit union's market areas.
