Under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), Security Service members who become active duty military can have the rate on their existing loans at Security Service reduced to 6.00% APR*. ​​

Who qualifies?

You can apply for this reduction if one of the borrowers is entering, called to active duty, or deployed with the military. Learn more about the SCRA program.


Which loans apply?

Security Service will apply this rate reduction to credit cards, lines of credit, installment loans, and real estate loans.

Already deployed?

If you have already reported for duty out of town, you can complete the Operation Salute the Strong Form by mail or by a person with Power of Attorney.


Effective Date

If you were not active duty when the loan was made but then became active duty, benefits begin on your active duty start date. If you are a reservist called to active duty, benefits begin on the date of your orders.
